The crowning of 23-year-old half-Filipina Riza Santos as Miss World Canada 2011 was held Thursday, May 19, at the River Rock Show Casino Show Theatre in Richmond, British Columbia with Riza Santos winning over 21 other Canadian candidates. Riza succeeded Denise Garrido who in Miss World 2010 was among the Top 25 Semi-Finalists
